Change Date Terminal Mac El Capitan

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting. I tried for hours to find an existing answer so as to not duplicate things but alas, I give up. I have a 2012 macbook pro 15' and it is running a 500gb HDD with 8gb ram. I tried to use it to download a new OSX onto an external mounted SSD the other day for a friend's computer but it didn't work and when I rebooted my computer, it suddenly asked for a password even though I had it set with no password. The password hint says water star. When I try to reset it using my apple ID, the screen chops off the bottom half of the apple for a minute while the download bar appears below. When I type in my apple ID which I know is correct, it says it couldn't sign in because of a server error. I noticed that the time wasn't right and figured out how to change the time in terminal as I can't actually get into the normal system to change the date or time. I could not however figure out how to change the time zone from PST which it's set on now to AEST or australian eastern. Can anyone help me set my time zone in terminal and please be VERY specific and talk to me like I'm an idiot because when it comes to this stuff, I am. Thanks so much! daniel

Check compatibility

Answer: From within Numbers do this: 1. Open a spreadsheet file 2. Select the range (cell o column) you want to format with your new date 3. On the right panel, select 'Cell' 4. On the drop down for Data Format, select 'Create Custom Format' 5. Installing El Capitan on upgraded EFI cMP 4.1 (BootROM 144.0.0) Hi Folks! After attempting for a while to update my cMP4.1 to High Sierra/Mojave, I surrendered. Without the hardware upgrade, it simply not possible: my 2xQuadro 4000 for mac have glitches with both (I'm going to share a youtube video on that). OS 9 has no Terminal app of course, however I did try to change the time and date of my G4 using the proper Control Panel (which did not work). There seems to be two (2) creation dates for OS X Cheetah: ⁃ 9/3/2000 12:28am ⁃ 1/31/2001 3pm. So finally, my question.
